UMA Instructional Services Unit (ISU)
  • UMA Instructional Services provide pedagogical and technological solutions and alternatives that facilitate demonstrable improvement in instructionally-oriented processes/outcomes. Instructional design processes ensure the development and implementation of innovative strategies that achieve quality learning experiences.

The UMA Academic Services Division (ASD) provides integrative academic support to the UMA community. 

  • Library services provide direct services to students and faculty by offering not only walk-in services but also cross-functional learning commons which link and refer students to vital services, including the library. 
  • The UMA Centers provide an innovative system of distance learning that is community-based, connected and flexible. 
  • Academic Logistics is the hub for academic support for faculty, staff, students, campuses, centers and sites across the State of Maine, moving student work to-and-from the many locations across the state.  
  • ASD partners with IT to provide direct classroom support for hardware and software installed in the classrooms.
