Catalog Editor role suspended

The Catalog Editor role has been temporarily suspended. The information below is currently for reference purposes only.

Contact the Catalog Admin for further information.

Overview

Catalog Editors create and edit the various pieces of catalog content for their individual departments during the Open Edit stage of the catalog process.

To ensure individual department catalog content remains identical to the official catalog content, edits are only published when the catalog is published, and only after being approved by the respective Catalog Manager(s) and the Catalog Admin.

Responsibilities (by Stage)

Stage 1

  • Update Catalog Pages and Catalog Degrees as needed
    • Use "List Department Content" link in Catalog Tools menu to see only catalog content for a department
    • Check the "Ready for Submission" box for all content (even for content that has no other changes)
      • NOTE: For content that should no longer be included in the catalog (eliminated/suspended degrees, etc.), leave this box un-checked and it will be unpublished when the new catalog is published

    • NOTE: Changes after Stage 1 can only be implemented by Catalog Managers or Catalog Admins (see Late Changes note here).

  • Create/Update/Publish/Unpublish any Catalog Degree Supplemental content at will
