... make changes to a Degree or Catalog Page?
  • As with all other content, simply navigate to the individual degree or page (or use the Content List) and click the 'Edit' tab (which may say 'Edit', 'Edit Current' or 'Edit Latest' depending on whether there are any existing or pending revisions).
    • See the Catalog Degrees page for explanations of each field, including what's changed from the old Degrees & Certificates type.
    • See the Catalog Pages page for what makes them different from the regular Pages type.
... add a new Degree or non-degree Page?
  • Click the 'Create Catalog Degree' or 'Create Catalog Page' link in your Admin Tools list.
    • But I don't see the 'Create Catalog Degree' or 'Create Catalog Page' links in my Admin Tools list!
      Your department's site administrator must give you the 'Catalog Editor' permission under the Configure Roles tab of the User Management screen.
... add/edit/remove the Career Options or Learn More content?
  • To add either (or both) of these items, click the 'Create Catalog Degree Supplemental' link in your Admin Tools list.

... remove a Degree or Catalog Page from the catalog?
  • To stop a Degree or Catalog Page from being included in a new catalog, simply leave the 'Ready for Submission' status box unchecked. This cannot be done after April 1st, however. See Catalog Stages.
... publish a new degree or changes to an existing Degree?
  • Editors and Managers may create new Degrees or Catalog Pages, but only the Catalog Admin may publish them. See Catalog Stages.
... get my department's Course List page to be the same as the Catalog Page version?
  • Have the Help Desk create a ticket with your request. The change will generally be made the next day.
... become/add/remove a Catalog Editor?
  • Have the Group Admin for your department assign (or remove) the catalog editor role. See the User Management page for more info.
... become/add/remove a Catalog Manager?
  • Managers are assigned after consultation with the Catalog Admin. Contact Steve Rand if you wish to add or remove a Manager.
