Starting with Version 1.0, all group landing pages will expand or contract, based on whether or not a Promo Item has been published in that group (see below).

Standard Site Layout

The following structure applies to all Academic, Administrative, Center & Institute, Project and Portal (Hybrid) sites.

Click a particular page block to see more information about that content type.

NOTE: Certain sub-sites within the CMS have other layouts, while others (School of Law) live outside the CMS, but these are exceptional situations.

With Promo Items & Without

If you have published at least one 'non-Right Sidebar' Promo Item (See Promo Items for more info), it will automatically appear on your group's home page and the Overview teaser and News & Events content will contract to make room for it in the central column.

If no 'non-Right Sidebar' Promo Item is published, the Overview teaser and News & Events content will expand to fill the central column of the home page.

With Slideshow Slides & Without

If at least one Slideshow Slide is published, it will appear at the top of your group home page.

If no Slideshow Slides are published, the left-side navigation, Overview teaser, and News & Events content will rise to the top of the page.
